For those of you who heard mum talk about her garden from time to time, you'll know that she'd renamed her gardening hobby 'battle against the four-legged creatures'. Our wonderful deer in the area seem to literally eat everything in their line of sight that is colourful (and sometimes not even that) - ie pretty much everything that isn't fenced in. Which is why in the past we'd have to fence the stairs coming up onto the deck. Everybody thought we were crazy because there is no way a deer would climb a set of stairs to get something to eat. Dad also recently said during a discussion on the topic that they usually don't get hungry until later summer when everything goes brown to which I replied "well then maybe we have a bit of time to enjoy the flowers". False. Definitely FALSE.
Ladies and gentleman, my alarm clock this morning:

My window seems to be a great vantage point for lots of things! |
We're not deciding on a name for the deer because I already have one: SNEAKY DEVIL. It's sibling was at the front of the house at the same time. This could get interesting!
Do you need Marius to come have a sleepover there?
